Chris is a people person. He loves uncovering people’s stories, celebrating their achievements and discovering what motivates them. Chris is driven by the desire to help people unleash their potential. Placing the right person in the right job and supporting their career growth is where he finds true satisfaction. This passion plus his entrepreneurial spirit led to the creation of Meritos, an organisation that’s core purpose is to unleash the potential that exists within us all.

Chris backs up his passion with more than 15 years of deep public sector experience. He’s not a fence sitter but he’s been on both sides of the fence: consulting and working for various levels of Queensland and New South Wales governments. This experience means he’s likely been where you’re standing now. He understands the complexities of organisations and the recruitment challenges you may face.

If you asked Chris’ clients what made him stand out, they’ll say his dedication to delivering an exceptional candidate experience. This is influenced by his commitment to honesty and transparency during the recruitment process and ensuring all candidates receive valuable and constructive feedback.

Chris is also a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion in all workplaces, including his own. His team are from many walks of life. They collectively bring amazing achievements and stories to the table, which keep the office or the Zoom chat lively and spirited.

Chris is a passionate lifelong learner. He holds a Bachelor of Health Science from Endeavour College and is a graduate of the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at Monash University. If that’s not enough, he’s also learning to play the piano in his spare time.
