Putting people before profits since 1992
Aware Super was established in 1992 to provide for the superannuation and retirement needs of NSW public sector employees and their families.
In 2006, they opened their doors to everyone, providing competitive-fee, low-maintenance super for all Australians.
In 2011, Aware Super merged with Health Super to create one of Australia’s largest super funds. They currently manage a combined asset pool of $125 billion on behalf of their 1.1 million members and clients.
Operating on a bigger scale allows them to offer security and benefits through competitive fees, value-for-money insurance rates, and financial advice.
So while Aware Super has changed in size, they’ve stayed true to their philosophy of putting members first.

Aware Super Opportunities
- Government Relations Manager
In this role, you will build strategic relationships with Aware Super’s key stakeholder groups to ensure its Chair, CEO, and executives have open access to government decision-makers and influencers. In addition, you will be responsible for effectively disseminating its policy and strategic positions, liaising with people across the organisation, and maintaining current stakeholder management practices.

- Senior Manager, Policy and Government Relations
In this role, you will deliver policy advocacy for Aware Super in the industry and with government policy makers. You will lead policy positions and engage in forums to achieve outcomes for its members while influencing policy direction. You will also be responsible for developing submissions to government inquiries, consultations, and draft legislation at both Federal and State levels, as well as drafting legislation, in alignment with Aware Super’s priorities.
